The Main Story
Facts: Hunger & food waste coexist. Our Group solves both while being able to create large quantities of nutritious meals for those in need.
How: We collect a large surplus of veggies, fruits & meats from grocery stores, farmers markets & restaurants. We then cook those perishable items with dry foods like rice, beans, pastas, etc... They are then distributed to low-income families where they are ready to heat & eat!
Why Our Meals Are Extra Helpful
Our ready-to-heat & eat meals are a lifeline for families balancing multiple jobs and working late hours. Unlike unhealthy boxed alternatives, our meals offer a nutritious and convenient solution that can be enjoyed just by heating.
Volunteers
Neighborhood Cook Program
With our growing volunteer group and the flexibility to cook meals at home on their own schedule, we’re making a real impact in the community, helping families access nutritious meals daily.
